The Five-Phase Method

Built for the
executive who
has no time
to waste.

Every phase of this methodology is engineered with one constraint in mind: you are busy. Sessions are deep, not long. Deliverables are precise, not voluminous. The work moves from the inside out — beginning with who you are and ending with how that is seen.

Four core sessions. Each one structured, focused, and designed to produce a concrete deliverable before the next begins. A fifth phase — Activation & Calibration — is available as an optional add-on for executives who want ongoing strategic support as their brand compounds in the field.

01
Phase One

Excavation.

"Who are you when no one is performing?"

Session 1

What happens in this session

Before anything is built, something must be found. This session is a structured excavation of your career narrative — not as it appears on a CV, but as it actually happened. Inflection points, pivots, defining decisions, and the values that held under pressure.

Most executives have never been asked to articulate who they are beneath the titles they've accumulated. This is that conversation — precise, directed, and designed to surface what is true rather than what is polished.

Deliverable Brand DNA Document

You leave with

A clear articulation of your operational values — the ones you actually live by, not the ones that sound good
Your career narrative mapped as a coherent arc, not a list of roles
The raw material every subsequent session builds from
02
Phase Two

Positioning.

"Where do you create irreplaceable value?"

Session 2

What happens in this session

Clarity without direction is self-awareness without impact. This session moves from what is true about you to where that truth becomes strategically powerful. You will map the competitive landscape of your space, identify the specific intersection only you occupy, and define your category of one.

This is also where your audience is architected — primary, secondary, tertiary — and where you articulate a clear, jargon-free point of view on the tensions and problems your industry cannot ignore.

Deliverable Positioning Statement & Audience Map

You leave with

A positioning statement that is specific enough to differentiate and broad enough to endure
A defined audience hierarchy — who needs to know you, and in what order
2–3 sharp points of view on the issues your audience is already thinking about
03
Phase Three

Narrative.

"What story makes people lean in?"

Session 3

What happens in this session

Positioning tells people where you stand. Narrative makes them care. This session constructs the story arc that carries your positioning into every room, conversation, and platform — with the coherence of something lived, not the smoothness of something manufactured.

You will develop a story vault: a set of field-tested anecdotes mapped to your core themes — resilience, judgment, vision, failure, and recovery. These are not talking points. They are the building blocks of a presence that lands differently every time it shows up.

Deliverable Narrative Playbook & Message Hierarchy

You leave with

A signature origin-to-now narrative arc with emotional coherence
A story vault of 6–10 anecdotes mapped to your brand themes
A message hierarchy — the one thing, the three things, the full picture
04
Phase Four

Platform.

"Where should you show up — and how?"

Session 4

What happens in this session

The story is built. Now it needs a home. This session maps the channels, formats, and cadences that match your narrative to your audience — and, critically, to your bandwidth. An executive's platform strategy must be sustainable, not aspirational.

This is not a content calendar exercise. It is a strategic decision about where your presence compounds most efficiently — whether that is LinkedIn, the speaking circuit, media, internal visibility, or a combination. The platform serves the brand. Never the other way around.

Deliverable 90-Day Activation Plan & Channel Playbook

You leave with

A channel strategy matched to your goals, audience, and available time
A 90-day content and visibility roadmap, ready to execute
An opportunity vetting framework — a clear filter for what to say yes and no to
Optional Add-on
05

Playbook + Check-ins

Activation &
Calibration.

The methodology does not end at strategy. For executives who want structured support as the brand moves into the world, this phase provides exactly that. It is not ongoing coaching — it is periodic, precise, and tied to real feedback. You execute. We calibrate.

This phase begins with a Brand Playbook — a consolidated reference document that captures everything produced in Sessions 1–4 — and continues with scheduled check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days to review what is landing, what is drifting, and what needs sharpening.

30/60/90-day check-in sessions
Live content review and coaching

Why it's built this way

Inside-out sequencing

Identity before positioning. Positioning before narrative. Narrative before platform. Reversing this order — the most common mistake — produces brands that are visually consistent but strategically hollow.

Deliverable-gated progression

No phase begins until the prior deliverable is agreed. This prevents the failure mode of executives who intellectually engage but haven't done the work to internalise it. Each session earns the next.

Built for fractured calendars

Sessions are designed as focused 90-minute deep dives. The work respects your time without diluting the depth. There is no padding. Every minute in session produces something you leave with.

Ready to begin

The only version of you
that matters is the accurate one.

Four sessions. One coherent brand. Built from the inside out, by someone who has lived the problem and engineered the solution.
